Nanny of the Month: Venus

It was only a handful of months ago when Venus stepped off a plane to her new life in Canada in April of 2013. She had already travelled all around the world, from the province of Pangasinan in the Philippines to working as a caregiver in Hong Kong. Her journey had taken her full circle to the place of her dreams: Canada.

Since her arrival to British Columbia, Venus has been flourishing. She has explored the wonders and beauty her new home has to offer, made new friends quickly and more importantly, has forged a lasting relationship with her chare and employers. Venus has earned the respect and friendship of her employers, as well as the unconditional love of her charge – a feeling that is clearly mutual,

 

Venus [has] provided us with above-standard care and as a result, we are able to work as physicians in the community with ease whilst knowing that our beautiful daughter is thriving and HAPPY. There is nothing more reassuring then that!! 

 

We are so grateful and want to support Venus in her new life in Canada as much as she’s supporting us! 

 

Venus has been named as the Nanny of the Month, thanks to the enthusiastic and vocal support of her employers. When sharing these lovely photos with us, one of her employers noted, “Complete with Canadian flag shirt, Venus had just come back from Canada Day Parade, very fitting. Venus is fantastic in every way.” In return, Venus has been overwhelmed by the love, support and warmth she has experienced from her new family – her first several months in Canada has been beyond her imagination. 

 

We would like to take this opportunity to applaud Venus for soaring high above even our wildest expectations. She has displayed all the characteristics of what it takes to be a Diamond Nanny: patience, love, creativity, boundless energy, honesty and professionalism. She also has a great attitude, a thirst for adventure and courage under her belt as well. Venus has proven what an amazing nanny is all about, and we can’t wait to see what incredible things she will achieve in Canada.
