New LMO Fee Introduced
Effective July 31st, 2013, Service Canada introduced an obligatory, non-refundable $275.00 to review Labour Market Opinion (LMO) applications. The fee is paid directly to Service Canada, and will be processed upon submission of each LMO application. It is necessary to obtain a positive LMO in order to hire a live in caregiver. We hope this will mean positive changes at Service Canada including better service and faster processing times.
